In the single-player mode, you play with a smart bot. The bot definitely does not cheat! Our aim is to create a completely fair, competitive environment. The single-player mode vs the bot is meant to practice different strategies and see what might happen when you try different things.

Our bot is never aware of the tiles you have or those in the boneyard.
