You can turn on/off music and sounds in the game Settings:

• Tap the Settings button in the top right corner 
• Tap on the Sound  or Music  icon to disable it

You can also do it on the playing board:

• Tap the Settings option or the Menu (arrow) button under the tray
• Music and sound effects can be turned on/off in the upper bar
